How we handle your information
We collect very little, share less, and treat what you give us with the same care we'd want for our own data. This page explains exactly what happens.

Who we are
This website is operated by IT Zeitgeist LLC, a Colorado limited liability company doing business as Digital Wisdom Collective (referred to as "we," "us," or "Digital Wisdom Collective" throughout this policy).
Our registered address is 1452 Glenda Ct., Loveland, CO 80537, United States. Our privacy contact is [email protected].
What we collect
We collect information in three ways, and only what we actually need:
1. Information you give us through forms. When you apply to The Threshold program, request a conversation, or fill out any other form on this site, we collect what you type into it — typically your name, email address, organization, role, and the substantive answers to our questions.
2. Information you give us by subscribing. When you subscribe to our Substack newsletter, your email address is collected by Substack on our behalf. We don't operate Substack — see "Third parties" below.
3. Basic site analytics. We use lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are read and how readers arrive. This data is aggregated and is not linked to a specific identifiable person by us.
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not run advertising on this site. We do not build behavioral profiles of our readers.
Why we collect it
We use the information you give us to do exactly what you'd expect: to respond to your inquiry, evaluate your application to a program, send you the newsletter you subscribed to, or provide a service you've engaged us for.
We use site analytics to understand whether the writing on this site is reaching the people we built it for, and to improve it accordingly. That's the entire scope.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with a small set of trusted service providers who help us run the business. They process information on our behalf and are bound to keep it confidential:
Notion — we use Notion (Notion Labs, Inc., USA) as our internal knowledge and project workspace. When you submit a form on this site, the initial record (your name, email, and answers) is created in Notion so we can read and respond to it.
Folk CRM — we use Folk (Folk Technologies SAS, France) as our customer relationship management system. After your initial submission, your contact record is also added to Folk so we can continue the relationship over time. Folk is based in the European Union and processes data in accordance with the GDPR.
Substack — if you subscribe to our newsletter, your email is processed by Substack (Substack Inc., USA) per their privacy policy.
Manus — this website and its underlying database are hosted on the Manus platform (Butterfly Effect Pte. Ltd.).
We do not share your data for marketing purposes, ever. We may disclose information if compelled by valid legal process — and if so, we will tell you unless legally prohibited from doing so.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we have a working relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you come back. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it.
Your rights
You can email us at [email protected] at any time and ask us to:
· Tell you what information we have about you
· Correct any information that's wrong
· Delete your information from our records
· Stop sending you anything
We'll respond within a reasonable time — typically within a couple of weeks. We honor these requests regardless of where you live.
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any CCPA right, email the address above.
International visitors
Digital Wisdom Collective is operated from the United States. If you submit information to us from outside the US — including from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland — your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. We treat your data with care regardless of where you live, and you can email [email protected] at any time to access, correct, or delete what we hold.
Cookies
This site uses essential cookies required to keep the site running and to remember you if you've signed in. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings; doing so will not break the parts of the site that don't require sign-in.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, please email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For substantial changes that affect how we use your data, we'll also notify subscribers by email.
